Please read carefully and sign before attending your retreat. This only needs to be completed once.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Assumption of Risk. I understand that yoga, physical fitness activities, excursions, and related activities offered during the retreat involve inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, and other physical injuries. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in retreats, workshops, excursions, meals, or any other activities offered by Aethera Retreats and Yoga with Lisa.
Release of Liability. In consideration of being permitted to participate in Aethera Retreat activities, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Aethera Retreats, Yoga with Lisa, Lisa Eshun-Wilson, and their associates, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury — including injury sustained during yoga sessions, excursions, gym activities, meals, or any other retreat programming — that may be sustained by me during participation.
Ongoing Effect. This waiver applies to my participation in all retreats, workshops, and other activities offered by Aethera Retreats and Yoga with Lisa, whether attended now or in the future. It shall remain in full force and effect until I notify Aethera Retreats in writing of my intent to revoke it.
Food & Dietary Responsibility. I understand that meals are prepared by an on-site private chef using fresh, local, and plant-rich ingredients. I accept responsibility for communicating any dietary restrictions, allergies, or medical conditions prior to the retreat. Aethera Retreats and Yoga with Lisa are not liable for any adverse reactions to food or beverages consumed during the retreat.
Medical Acknowledgment. I confirm that I am physically fit to participate in retreat activities and that I have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation, or that I have consulted with a physician and received clearance to participate. I agree to inform my instructor of any injuries, health conditions, or physical limitations prior to the retreat.
Instructor Authority. I agree to follow the reasonable instructions of Aethera Retreats and Yoga with Lisa instructors and understand that I may be asked to modify or stop an activity if an instructor deems it necessary for my safety.
Photo & Media Release. I understand that retreat activities may be photographed or filmed for Aethera Retreats and Yoga with Lisa marketing and promotional materials. I will indicate my consent or non-consent for media use separately during retreat registration.
Governing Law. This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
I have read this waiver carefully, understand its contents, and sign it of my own free will.
